1. Who you are dealing with

TimesPosts is operated by TimesPosts Media Ltd, of Dorayi, Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. In these terms “we” and “us” mean that company, and “the site” means TimesPosts at https://timesposts.com and timesposts.com.ng.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. Using the site

You may read, link to, quote and share our journalism. Normal quotation with attribution and a link is welcome and needs no permission.

You must not:

• republish whole articles, or a substantial part of our output, commercially without our written permission;
• scrape or bulk-harvest the site, or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on it;
• use our content to train a machine learning model without our written permission;
• attempt to gain access to the newsroom, any account, or any part of the system you have not been given access to;
• misuse the contact form to send unlawful, abusive or deliberately false material.

3. Our content

Everything published on the site, including text, photography, video and the design of the site itself, is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright. The name TimesPosts and our marks belong to us.

Fair dealing for the purposes of reporting, criticism and review is unaffected by these terms.

4. What you send us

If you send us a tip, correction or other message, you confirm it is yours to send and that you are not breaching anyone else’s rights or an obligation of confidence you owe. You give us permission to use the information for journalistic purposes.

We will not publish your name or contact details in connection with a tip without agreeing that with you first. How we handle your message is set out in the privacy policy.

5. Accuracy

We work to the standards set out in our editorial standards and correct errors under our corrections policy. Even so, journalism is published at a moment in time and later facts can change the picture. The site is provided for information, and nothing on it is legal, financial, medical or professional advice.

6. Other people’s sites

We link to other sites where it helps the reader. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they publish or do.

7. Availability

We try to keep the site up but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, and we may amend these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the amended terms.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from your use of the site, and our total liability to you in connection with the site is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
